St. Elizabeth Elementary School adheres to the curriculum guidelines set forth by the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington School Office.
The school day begins at 8:00 AM with a dismissal at 3:00 PM. The school day is divided into eight 43 minute periods. Students have a scheduled 40 minute lunch and recess period. Students eat in Grant Hall and have recess in Canby Park.

In Grades 6, 7,and 8 students are placed in 3 Math ability Groups
The Step -up-to-Writing process is taught in all grade levels
Every class has a weekly class dedicated to peaceful conflict resolution skills and interpersonal relationships. Students in Grade 8 work in small advisory groups.
Our facilities include designated rooms exclusively for Computer, Library, and Art. In addition, the elementary school has exclusive use of our own gymnasium as well as areas for the Extended Care program. The newly renovated Benedictine Performing Arts Center is a shared facility between the school and St. Elizabeth High School.
The Computer Lab, classroom computers, and SmartBoards are available for all teachers to integrate technology with content appropriate lessons.
All teachers offer after school help.
